Resources for Educators

Whether you are a teacher, a nature interpreter, or a parent, we have some terrific resources that can help you bring science and nature alive for the young people in your lives. CPAWS believes in helping educators, and we don’t mind doing it for free!

Check out what we have to offer:

  • Free lessons, activities & EE resources: some of your favourite CPAWS education resources are available for free download

  • Environmental Education Web Links: weblinks to our favourite environmental education sites, organization webpages, research, adopt-an-animal websites, and more!

  • Connect with Green Teachers: get connected with the environmental education community! Join the EE-News listserv to find out about great websites, new resources and education programs.

  • Library Resources (PDF, ~230K) and Maps (PDF, ~70K): detailed lists of books, reports and maps available at our library for consultation. Come to our office during business hours to check them out.
