Born in Wisconsin, Ann Lemorande currently splits her time between the west coast of Vancouver Island and Calgary, Alberta. During her working career, including 16 years in the petroleum industry and 14 years devoted to the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, her love of photography always played in the background. Both conventional film photography and the digital world hold her interest, with an absolute passion for anything natural and wild. Mother Nature, the ultimate artist, is where Ann draws her greatest inspiration. Ann has participated in artshows with the Pacific Rim Art Society on Vancouver Island, and recently joined Art Exposed in Calgary for a successful show of her photography. “Creating and co-ordinating the CPAWS photo contest was one of the highlights of my career with CPAWS, and I am very honoured to help choose this year’s wonderful winners!” Enjoy the world through Ann’s eyes at www.lemorandephoto.com.
