Phil Lulman Volunteer Award

Phil Lulman

Phil Lulman was a long time board member of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society's Calgary/Banff Chapter, an active board member, and the Board Chair from 1997-2002. Phil passed away on December 17, 2004 after a long and very courageous battle with cancer.

Phil left us a legacy of commitment and dedication to the CPAWS mission, as well as an unflagging positive attitude to everything he approached in life. He has been an inspiration to all who knew him. This award recognizes a person in the ranks of CPAWS' volunteers who has most exemplified the same qualities of positive commitment, service and dedication to our Chapter. The award was first presented at the Wild Gala in 2005.
